Virginia is home. North Carolina is roots. We drew Home & Roots from both states: the flower they share, the ridges that run through them, the light on their coasts. These are meant to hang in a house, not come home in a gift shop bag.
Six subjects run through the whole collection. They arrive as wallpaper singles first, printable sets after.
The state flower of both Virginia and North Carolina, so it had to be in here.
Ridge after ridge in morning blue, the view that defines the western horizon of both states.
Fog sitting in the valley early, before it burns off.
A lighthouse at golden hour on the Carolina coast.
The geometry of traditional hand stitched quilts, turned into pattern.
Evening light over the marsh grass of the Carolina sounds.
We are making the first pieces now. Nothing goes on sale until it is finished and we have looked it over properly. We will put each piece here when it is ready, and not before.
Blue Ridge Layers at Dawn, Dogwood Bloom on Black, Outer Banks Lighthouse at Golden Hour, and Shenandoah Fog. We will add those four to our daily singles on Zedge.
The first printable set pairs dogwood and mountain laurel as matched state prints, and we will sell it on Ko-fi.
Quilt geometry and marsh light come later in the season. We will add them here as we finish them.
